Day 1


Start your day with breakfast at American Table. This local restaurant won best breakfast in K-County in the 2017 Breakfast Wars.

After your morning energy boost, take a hike at the Tri-County Fish & Wildlife Area before it gets too hot outside. Tri-County is a preserved area for hunting, fishing, bird and wildlife watching, and hiking.

Stop for lunch at Kelainey’s Sweet Dreams in Winona Lake. Try some of their famous sandwiches and cool down with some ice cream.

While you’re at Kelainey’s take a walk around The Village at Winona. The Village is home to over twenty renovated Victorian homes that are now retail and service shops and restaurants.

Further down the road you can find the Winona Lake Park and Splashpad. Cool off in the water and swim in the lake. There’s even kayaks and paddle boards for rent at the Winona Lake Parks Department.

For dinner go to Palette, An American Eatery. They specialize in American dishes and have many options.

After dinner, see a show at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts. You can see musicals, comedians, musicians and more.

Day 2


Enjoy a breakfast at Creighton’s Crazy Egg Cafe & Coffee Bar, where they serve hand-made fresh dishes with eggs from the Creighton Brothers farm.

Explore all the shopping in downtown Warsaw. There’s shops with hand crafted pottery and clay products, men and women clothing, or jerky.

Stop for lunch at Mad Anthony’s Lake City Taphouse. Serving unique and fun dishes for all ages.

Drive over to Center Park and walk the paths, swim at the beach, or play on the playground.

Or explore Winona Lake by taking a bike ride on the Heritage Trail that runs through the town, by the park and beach, through the woods, and by Grace College.

Go to dinner at the BoatHouse Restaurant in The Village at Winona for a classy meal with a lake view porch.
