Breaking a Guinness World Record Event
September 9th – 10:00 AM-1:00 PM – Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, Warsaw
An attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the “longest chain of inflatables” on Winona Lake is set for September 9th. Imagine yourself and all your favorite people floating on the lake at the same time forming over a mile-long chain, breaking the record! This is a fundraiser for Aunt Anje’s ALS Fund.
Myaamiaki: Stories of Miami People
September 9th – 10:00 AM-12:00 PM – WACF Ruddell Pavilion, Syracuse
The Chautauqua-Wawasee arranged for two members of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma to share information and the perspective of the native Miami peoples, past, present, and future, on September 9th at the WACF Ruddell Pavilion. This event is free.
All-Star Show

On Friday, September 15th, The Old Jail Museum will be holding an open house and event in conjunction with Third Fridays. The event will showcase this year’s featured exhibit celebrating the Native American heritage of Kosciusko County.

Celebrating Us Festival

On September 23rd from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM. One Warsaw is hosting their Celebrating Us event in Downtown Warsaw. Admission is free. There will be food, games, and organizations with booths to learn more about how we are growing diversity and inclusion in our community.

Lake Wawasee “Then and Now” Cruise

The Chautauqua-Wawasee is repeating last year’s successful “Lake Wawasee, “Then & Now” presentation by local historian Ann Garceou of the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum. The event starts at 1:00 PM, and the boarding starts at 12:45 PM.
