Kosciusko County 2022-2023 Experience Guide

Taking it Easy

This multi-generational community is family-friendly and laid back in a simple way. Finding those garden ripe tomatoes on your front porch without knowing who put them there is not an uncommon occurrence.

The best time to visit Etna Green is after Memorial Day. The fountain in Remembrance Park is flowing, the historic band stand still protects performers from the elements and there’s a mural that is a must see. The second weekend in June is the annual town-wide garage sales. You never know what you will find.

Discover the Etna Green Museum in Heritage Park. When you walk in you can see the love of people in times past. Next to the museum is a 1934 caboose rail car. Also visit the Etna Green Elevator building that was built about 1907.

Savor a home cooked meal at one of Etna Green’s two restaurants, Etna Green Café or George’s Highlander Bar & Grill.

Before you leave town, be sure to stroll through Remembrance Park. The large beautiful mural painted by local artist, Robert A. Hudson, will be there waiting for you. Enjoy this great outdoor public art as you take it easy in this quaint rural town named Etna Green.
