Leesburg offers a sense of nostalgia and old world feel, with ten blocks of its brick streets listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. Leesburg was the first town in Kosciusko County and was the first county seat until 1854. Duck, Down & Above
Duck, Down & Above offers a variety of duck and chicken products and high quality down pillows, comforters, and blankets, all made by Maple Leaf Farms. Maple Leaf Farms is one of the leading duck product producers in the nation and it has its corporate headquarters right in Leesburg.
Oppenheim Woods
Oppenheim Woods is owned and protected by the Nature Conservancy, whose mission is to protect our natural land and water. Established in 2010, this preserve contains rolling hills, lush forests, and gorgeous wildflowers. Wildflower varieties include trillium, celandine, poppy, and wood phlox. Additionally, songbirds of all kinds migrate through the area in April and May. This spectacular location is an ideal place to walk and bird watch.
Pound Store Museum
Opened for the first time in 1838 as a Native American trading post, the Pound Store Museum is the county’s oldest commercial building. Named after long-time owner John Pound, the store was renovated by the Kosciusko County Historical Society. One of its exhibits includes a 400-year-old Native American canoe.

Tippy Creek Winery is Kosciusko County’s first winery. All of their wine is blended and bottled on-site. Sip wine on the couches beside the beautiful fireplace in their large retail area. Choose from over 14 wines and a selection ranging from sweet to dry. You can try wine slushies, wine flights, and do tastings. Enjoy the outdoor patio with corn hole boards and live music.
