Welcome to Warsaw, Indiana
Warsaw is not only the county seat, but also known as the Orthopedic Capital of the World due to the many orthopedic companies that were founded and remain here. Northeast Indiana represents 50% of the global orthopedic market for total joint replacements. The orthopedic industry is the largest provider of jobs in the county.
Featuring a vibrant downtown with an infusion of lakes and beautiful parks, Warsaw offers an ideal balance between a rich urban experience and peaceful outdoor adventure. Warsaw is situated around three lakes including Center Lake, Pike Lake, and Hidden Lake. These provide paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water ski shows, and other water-related recreation. Kayak rentals are available on both Center and Pike Lake. Local parks and beaches keep families entertained during the summer, as well as a variety of events and festivals, including the very popular Warsaw Summer Concert Series. There are walking and cycling trails that run around the city and bikeways that connect points of interest in the community, as well as bikeshare rentals available. Things To Do in Warsaw, Indiana
Anthology Whiskey Room
Located in the St. Regis Club in downtown Warsaw, the aptly named Anthology Whiskey Room could well deliver almost as many labels as its name suggests. Numbering over 1,300 choices in its stock, Anthology may boast one of the largest number of whiskeys to sample in the Midwest. A classic design with an interior of rich wood and leather will transport you to a sphere where aficionados of taste mix. Savor the experience slowly.
Atelier
Atelier is a contemporary art gallery in Downtown Warsaw. The gallery represents emerging and contemporary artists and exhibits a new artist every two months.
Atelier, owned and operated by art advisor, Sea Grandon, will be a place for art collectors and creatives to gather, explore ideas, and share perspectives. The gallery is intended to provide an outlet in Northern Indiana for innovation and creativity.
Buffalo Street Plaza and Castaldi Fountain
This fountain and plaza overlooks Center Lake and features a beautiful statue created by Osman Akan. It is a scenic place to sit and eat lunch or enjoy some time relaxing and also offers a splashpad for kids to play in during the summer. This plaza is designed to give people of all ages and abilities access to beautiful Center Lake.
Gardens of Central Park
Come visit the Gardens of Central Park where you can walk along the paths of flowering plants and enjoy the wonderful colors and seasons.
Lake City Skiers
Lake City Skiers, Indiana’s only competitive water ski show team, is located in Warsaw, Indiana. Established in 1989, they won Division II Nationals back-to-back in 2006 & 2007 and again in 2014 & 2016. With approximately 80 members ranging from 4 to 65 years of age, they perform 30 shows throughout the summer on Sunday and Tuesday evenings at 6:30PM, which are free to the public on Hidden Lake located at the junction of State Road 15 and US 30.
Old Jail Museum
The Old Kosciusko County Jail houses the Kosciusko County Historical Society and Genealogy Library. Take a free, self-guided tour of the building and enjoy wonderful displays, rich history about the Old Jail and the surrounding community, and a small gift shop.
Pike & Center Lake Beaches
Both Pike and Center Lake offer beautiful beaches which offer a variety of amenities. Pike Lake Beach offers lake access, boat launch, camping, playgrounds, restrooms, vending machines, and kayak rentals. Center Lake Beach offers lake access, picnic tables, restrooms, vending machines, and kayak rentals. Please note that no lifeguards are present at these beaches and swimming is at your own risk.
Salt Caves
There are two Himalayan salt caves in Warsaw, Cave on the Square and Himalayan Salt & Scents.
Himalayan Salt & Scents is located in Superior Landscaping and offers a salt cave, infrared salt sauna, and huge selection of natural and hand carved Himalayan salt lamps and other products.
Cave on the Square is inside Courthouse Coffee on the Square across the street from the Kosciusko County Court House.
Tippy River Adventures
Tippy River Adventures is a kayak and canoe livery with a mission to promote fun active lifestyles and fellowship on the Tippy River, encouraging activities that are environmentally friendly and educational.
The Fairy Village
The Fairy Village is located in Himalayan Salt & Scents in the Superior Landscape Products building in Warsaw. This Fairy Village is built around and inside of a real 13,000-pound Sycamore tree stump. Enjoy this whimsical, magical fairyland display and find inspiration and supplies to build your own fairy garden.
Trails
Enjoy some of the scenic local walking and biking trails in Warsaw, including Beyer Farm Boardwalk Trail and Old Chinworth Bridge Trail.
Beyer Farm Boardwalk Trail offers a peaceful getaway surrounded by wetlands and wildlife. The 1800 feet of boardwalk features a new addition of a stone amphitheater located near the Kosciusko Community Hospital. Upon exiting the wetlands, an asphalt trail will appear near the lake shore to the Pike Lake Campground.
Chinworth Bride Trail is a historic iron bridge spanning the Tippecanoe River, which dates to 1897 and is in the National Registry of Historic Places. Nearly two miles long, the trail is perfect for hikers and bicyclists, who can learn some area history as they traverse the asphalt trail, which incorporates two historic bridges along the way.

Warsaw Biblical Gardens
Situated on approximately 3/4 acre, this biblical garden is the third largest in the US and offers more species of plants than any other except for the Holy Lands. The gardens are comprised of 6 microclimates which represent the main environments that the Bible talks about, containing over 100 plants that are named in the Bible.
Warsaw Cut Glass
You’re sure to find treasure here – goblets, mugs, pitchers, platters and bowls, all in gleaming hand-cut crystal with a history dating back to 1911 when the Warsaw Cut Glass Company opened in this community. It is the last U.S. company cutting glass in its original building with vintage machinery. Their signature pattern is “rye,” a delicate floral design carved into many of the works. However, they have over 50 different patterns they can cut into their glass creations. Explore their store and find the perfect piece to take home with you. Glass cutting demonstrations are not guaranteed, and you must call ahead for availability if you are interested.

Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts
Enjoy a Broadway-caliber show at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts, which has been entertaining families and groups for over 52 years. This theatre provides the unique experience of being in a theatre in the round, where you are never more than 10 rows from the center stage!

This craft burger place serves up round-the-world versions with unusual and delicious additions and sauces. Order the seven-ounce, juicy patties to your preferred doneness. Dressed up in a pretzel bun, they offer combos like the Seoul – Korean slaw, umami glaze, pickled veggie and sriracha sauce as well as a peanut butter burger. If these internationally inspired burgers aren’t your thing, have no fear, they have a traditional American burger as well.
